Membership is open to anyone who works in a public or private K-12, or institutions of higher learning located in Bergen County or nearby counties in the State.  Membership is not only made up of school security specialists, but is comprised of a diverse group of active and retired law enforcement, school superintendents, business administrators, teachers, principals, private industry security professionals, maintenance personnel, facilities directors or anyone whose primary or secondary responsibility is that of protecting the safety of our children in school.
All persons applying for membership will be vetted through your district or related employer and must provide a district or work email.  Applications submitted with personal emails will be rejected. 
Memberships are valid for the current school year and run from September to August. Membership fees are per person.  Once your membership is approved, you are welcome to attend any or all of the five meetings held during the school year, as well  access to the members only section of the website.  This section contains a message board, membership directory, meeting meetings, as well as many other useful resources.
